Yeah but a flag is distinctly different from a logo and with my last two I did aim for simple and symbolic.

Really the big thing about flags is that unlike just about everything else they're meant to be seen from a distance, so, personal tastes aside, hence the no letters or seals - you shouldn't have to try to strain figure out what a flag is saying when viewing it and letters or seals will just become a big unattractive blob from afar. However, a logo is very close, if it's a company logo you'll see it on buildings and papers and all over the place and in our case, for an online group, it'll be the thumbnail for the group - the first thing anyone sees of us - and it'll probably be all over the Wiki and on lots of images we work up for events or special parts of the wiki.

You can have words in a logo, in fact there's lots of iconic logos with lettering in them, though obviously within reason - not too many words or letters, though really I think the goal here should be to have some sort of symbol we can easily replicate and edit, sort of like how the SFMB has that triangle thing that I've put just about everywhere I can think to put it short of getting it tattooed on my person.

IDK maybe it's because there's little contrast in your last two or how I see a bit of shadows going on.

When I think logos the first 2 that comes to mind are Apple and Windows, both with pretty simple colour schemes and 0 shading.

Examples: 1 2 3 4 5 6

Based off the what was made and what I thought, I decided to go and make,Dawn of Tomorrow Logo Tankus

So I had another idea for a logo last night and since we've yet to decide on one thought I'd just work it up (twice in fact, like an idiot I didn't save last night before PDN crashed, lol), the design is fairly simple and there's probably countless variations I could work up of it but here's the three main variations I have right now:

We should have the orange as a summer variant, blue as a winter variant, but with a snowflake rather than a cog
