Francis "Frank" Deiton was born in a small clinic on the North side of Lexington, Kentucky to Rebecca Deiton; his father is Daniel "Dan" Deiton. From his birth, Frank was a witty child with an immense interest in design and industry; this keen interest aided him to become an esteemed entrepreneur and eventual CEO. Unfortunately, his father passed when he was only ten years of age, his mother following suite only four years later. After his mother's passing, he moved to Indiana with his older brother, Marcus. From there, he grew of age and moved to Colorado to start a mining company. Only to his dismay, the company started poorly but then struck it big, securing a #17 spot on Fortune 500 in only 3 years. The company is still in operation to this day, being among the top energy providers in the Atlantic Union and is a government sponsored monopoly.

Upon reaching age 28, Frank had already attended an unnamed community college in Colorado and made the decision to join the Air Force. He joined as a 1st Lt. and remained in active duty for 6 years until he retired as a Lt. Col. When he retired, he grew fond of politics and ran for Governor of the Central District of the Atlantic Union. After a tough campaign, the votes were tallied, and he had won. He was the very first independent to win a governor election. At the age of 44 and two terms as governor, he ran for the presidency; he won. He was the first independent to ever win the presidency.

Frank attained his nickname at an early age for having a frank personality, fitting for his name.
