The United African Initiative is a union in Sub-Saharan Africa. It is located south of the Democratic League of Central States and is bordered across the Indian Ocean by the Asia-Pacific Coalition and across the Atlantic Ocean by the American Union; the only state the UAI does not closely border is the Commonwealth of European States. The United African Initiative is a union that holds (approximately) 45 countries. Continental administrative borders were developed in 2025, with clarification as being based on geography rather than demographics.
History[]
(To be filled in.)
Geography[]
The United African Initiative occupies most of the lands south of the Sahara, including all of east Africa, the great African rift, and the Guinea coast, however Mauritania and Sudan are both part of the Democratic League of Central States. From the northwest clockwise, it is bordered by the Atlantic ocean, the Democratic League of Central States, the Indian ocean, and the Southern ocean.
Politics[]
The alignment of the Initiative's largest political figures would dictate that the country is essentially a center-left, almost socialist standing nation.
A list of the ministries and/or departments of the government:
- Ministry of Union
- Ministry of Foreign Affairs
- Ministry of Health
- Ministry of Employment
- Ministry of Finance
- Ministry of Culture
- Ministry of Education
- Ministry of Infrastructure
- Ministry of Justice
- Ministry of Food
- Ministry of Taxation
Regions[]
The UAI is currently split into 3 major regions; West Africa, Central Africa and South Africa. They are not decided by cultural or ethnic boundaries, and are only for the convenience of society.
Economy[]
Africa is in a revolting state of society, with much of it pushing out the agrarian lifestyle with continent-wide, public, free access to school and more dignified occupations. The continent's major metropolitan prefectures of Lagos, Kinshasa-Brazzaville, Johannesburg, Nairobi, Accra, and Khartoum are the economic centers of the union. However, Africa's economy is still largely built on its resource laiden territory, the richest in the world. Africa manages the world's largest circulatory system of gold, diamonds, and salt.
Demographics[]
The population of Africa has grown exponentially over the past century and topped 2 billion in 2038. There currently is a massive youth bulge, with a rising life expectancy of at least 50 years of age.
